INR

definitie: maat voor de stolbaarheid van bloed. Het is de gemeten protrombinetijd (PT) / normale protrombinetijd. INR 3 is dus dat het bloed 3x zo langzaam stolt als bij een normale PT. In de preventie van trombose wordt gestreeft naar een INR van 3.
